The face behind the lens
Hi, I'm Morgan Converse + I am so happy you're here!
- she/her, a body-positive, LGBTQIA+ photographer based in Austin, MN. My mission goes way beyond taking photos.
Photography, for me, isn’t the passion.
Self-love is.
My purpose lies in helping people rediscover their spark - that beautiful, raw magic within that often gets buried under expectations and self-doubt. I believe one candid photo can shift the way you see yourself… and that shift? It can change everything.
I specialize in portraits, senior sessions, branding, and boudoir/empowerment shoots. For families and couples, I like to throw out the traditional rule book. Your love. messy, goofy, quiet, or wild is already so full of magic. Our time together will be low-key, pressure-free, and full of moments that feel like you.
My editing style? It leans retro, warm, gritty, and colorful like flipping through a well-loved vintage photo album. The kind you open when you need to feel something. My favorite shots are always the candid ones: the laughter, the glances, the in-between. Let’s slow down, be present, and create something meaningful one click at a time.

Grandma Ginger-ale
I have a slighttttt addiction to Zevia Ginger-ale and if that makes me a grandma so be it! I don't drink pop or alcohol, but would live for a ginger-ale taste testing - is that a thing? Did I just come up with an excellent idea?!

Dreams
by Fleetwood Mac is my go to karaoke song! In fact, we go hard about karaoke over here. We have a traveling karaoke machine amongst friends and it makes its appearance at every party. There is a version of me that was a singer in a band long before this but shhhh that's a story for another day.
